Friday is my last day at work. The money I'm bringing home isn't worth the time away from my family. Plus yesterday I spent 2 hours taping white paper to the ends of boxes to cover up what had been written already. In no way was it possible to just turn the box around and use the other side. No, they paid 3 people to stack boxes, cut the paper and tape it to one end of the box. I can't seriously do stuff like that. Come on! Earlier in the week I spent time stamping SAMPLE on sample ballots. I just keep telling myself the people in charge know what they are doing. But it is such a joke!!
I can't wait to be home with my family again. I had to take today off b/c our a/c broke and John is up in the attic fixing it. Work wasn't very happy, but what were we supposed to do with Rita? I guess tomorrow they need me to work late. Another day spent with my thumb up my ass doing nothing I'm sure. Ugh! So frustrating!!
